position me is a lithography print series exploring themes of gender ambiguity, obstruction of self, and body modification. placement 1, 2, and 3 question my placement as a queer, gender non-conforming person within traditional Arab culture via the symbol of the head covering. Lace is employed as a symbol for femininity while the tattoos represent masculinity.
