Juno El-Ebrashi, an interdisciplinary artist from Portland, Oregon, is a second-year undergraduate student at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Intending to graduate in May 2028 with their BFA in studio art, their practice spans across several art mediums and SAIC departments, including but not limited to: printmedia, fibers/ material studies, fashion, painting/drawing, and sound. With ambitions of a career where event production, art education, and gallery management intersect, Juno’s academic and personal interests stem from a desire for greater accessibility, DIY initiatives, and third spaces within the contemporary art world. Having exhibited work for organizations like The World Forestry Center (Portland, OR), The Low Pressure Collective (Chicago, IL), and Chicago Fine Art Salon (Chicago, IL) as well as volunteering as a production assistant for World Fashion Festival (Chicago, IL) and Urban Visionaries (Chicago IL), Juno seeks to explore and learn the inner workings of the art world, both on and behind the scenes.
