My Ankh

My Ankh  is a woven sculpture made from various kinds of steel and aluminum wire and ball chain. Thinking about my family in Egypt, symbol commodification, and patrimony, this piece is Inspired by a necklace I wear everyday - an heirloom from my grandfather.
